Carlton Male Voice Choir has organized a Midsummer Fundraising Concert in aid of the NSPCC. On Saturday 23rd June they will perform in the wonderful setting of Nottingham High School. All proceeds of the concert will be donated to the NSPCC Nottingham Service Centre at Jenny Farr House in Mapperley.
The concert will feature performances by this year’s joint winners of the choir’s prestigious Music Maker Award. Nathan Holroyd and Konya Kanneh-Mason are both from Mapperley, and dazzled the audience at the choir’s recent Festival Concert at Nottingham’s Albert Hall. This concert will provide further opportunity to display their remarkable musical talents.
The choir has recently returned from a visit to Karlsruhe in Germany where it joined the renowned KIT Choir in a major concert in the city’s magnificent Stadtkirche.
The High School concert promises to be tremendously entertaining evening. The wide range of music will suit all tastes. From Classical to Pop, Rodgers and Hammerstein to Simon and Garfunkel, Verdi to Elvis.
Tickets are £10.00 (Under 21s £5.00) and are available from Carlton Male Voice Choir
